Our Mission: Aid in the search for and rescue of missing people.

Serving the people of Alaska since 1985.

We are a 501C3 non-profit and fully volunteer organization. We acquire and train our own dogs (and ourselves) to be mission ready for wilderness and urban search and rescue.

Our K9 search teams are trained in scent specific trailing, air scent, and water search. They are trained to find both live people and human remains.

PAWS K9 search teams are available at no charge to be called out by the Alaska State Troopers any time someone is missing.

PAWS search teams are dispatched by the Alaska State Troopers who may request our assistance on searches for lost people, human remains, and evidence.

In an emergency, call 911 to report a missing person.
